The CCNZ 2025 Annual General Meeting will be held online at 4pm on Thursday 14 August 2025. Members should pre-register now.

Those who pre-register will receive a link prior to the AGM. While associate members are welcome to attend, voting rights are limited to Contractor and Life Members, as per the CCNZ Constitution.

AGENDA

2. Confirmation of 2024 AGM Minutes - click here to view>>
Resolution 1: That the minutes of the 80th AGM held on 16 August 2024 be confirmed as true and correct.

3. Annual Report and Financial Statements - click here to view>>
President’s Report, Chief Executive’s Report
Resolution 2: That the CCNZ Annual Report including the Financial Statements for the period ended 31 March 2025 be approved and adopted.

4. Appointment of Auditor
Resolution 3: That Moore Markhams be appointed CCNZ’s auditor for the financial year ending 31 March 2026.

5. 2025 Review of Strategic Plan – click here to view>>

Resolution 4: That the 2025 CCNZ Strategic Plan, circulated with the AGM papers, be approved and adopted.

6. Election of Officers and Executive Council
a. President

President David Howard is one year into his two-year term, so the position of President is not due for election this year.

b. Vice President

Vice President, Jeremy Dixon, is one year into his two-year term, so the position of Vice President is not due for election this year.

c. Executive Council

The terms of office of Greg Lumsden, Orla Gallagher, and Kerry Watkins expire at the 2025 AGM. There remains one further vacancy on the Executive Council.

Greg Lumsden and Kerry Watkins have indicated that they will be seeking re-election. Orla Gallagher will not be seeking re-election. A further four nominations were received by the due date of 14 July 2025.

Therefore, in total six nominations have been received for four positions, and there will be an election conducted at the AGM. Please see the enclosed profiles of the following nominees:

d. Associate Councillor

The term of office of Associate Councillor Gary Richardson expires at the 2025 AGM. He has indicated that he will be seeking re-election. No further nominations were received by the due date of 14 July 2025. Therefore, Gary Richardson is re-elected unopposed.

7. Consideration of Resolutions including Rule changes

No resolutions for consideration at the AGM were received by the due date of 14 July 2025.

8. General Business

Online meeting participation

To participate in the online AGM, members will be required to pre-register to obtain the remote link.

If members wish to pre-register, please complete the online event registration or advise Nicola Hakes at nicola@civilcontractors.co.nz by 5pm, Monday 11 August 2025.

Proxies
If you are unable to attend the online AGM, you can appoint a person who is attending the AGM as your proxy by completing the attached proxy form and returning it by 5pm, Thursday 6 August 2025.
